Alstom Danmark

Alstom Danmark is a global leader in equipment and services for waste incineration plants.

Barker Jørgensen has supplied several waste incineration plants from Alstom Danmark with fans. E. g. we have supplied fans to plants in Torshavn and in Leirvik in the Faeroes, to Reno Syd and to four plants for Amagerforbrænding (Amager Incineration).

Both Reno Syd and the plants on the Faeroe Islands had their environmental facilities upgraded in connection with the EU directive on the removal of dioxins and sulphur from waste gases.

Mounted after the flue gas cleaning system, our fans are used as induced dragt fans.

The assignment for Amagerforbrænding differs from the majority in that the client had an urgent need for the fans, and the delivery time was therefore unusually short.

The fans were specially designed for the assignment and produced in record time. In addition, the layout at Amagerforbrænding made it necessary to supply the fans as an assembly kit to be fitted in place in very restricted conditions.

Once they were commissioned, Barker Jørgensen performed quality controls on the installed fans and assisted during start up.
