FLSmidth Airtech is a subsidiary company to FLSmidth that develops and delivers control systems to air pollution. FLSmidth has an extensive knowledge on factory filters, electrostatic lowering systems, conditioning towers, cleansing systems, heavy metal and dioxin disposal and multi pollution control systems.

FLSmidth Airtech has been customers at Barker Jørgensen for 15 years and uses the company’s small fans to blow components clean in some of their systems. Ejvind Larsen from FLSmidth Airtech explains why the company has been a loyal customer for many years and describes their business relations to Barker Jørgensen.

Quality to reasonable prices

According to Ejvind Larsen, the company focuses on minimising its expenses on a continuous basis, and based on the size of the product quantities delivered, their suppliers are constant being evaluated in the areas of price and quality.

“We always examine if we can buy cheaper products of the same quality from other suppliers, so far we have not had any luck finding a cheaper fan supplier than Barker Jørgensen so they continue to be our supplier”; states Ejvind Larsen.

Not hiding that the price is a key factor to FLSmidth Airtech, Ejvind Larsen admits that the quality of Barker Jørgensen’s fan products never have given the company any reason to replace them as supplier as well;

“I can not think of any problems we have ever had with Barker Jørgensen’s fans, we send them to our international customers and never receive any complaints”; says Ejvind Larsen.

Service minded when specific needs

Ejvind Larsen is very content with the collaboration between FLSmidth Airtech and Barker Jørgensen, stating; ”It is excellent – it is exactly as we want it!” FLSmidth Airtech has sometimes special requests in connection to motors or surface treatment of the fans, but according to Ejvind Larsen this is not a problem to Barker Jørgensen. Actually, Ejvind Larsen states, “the dialogue we have with Barker Jørgensen is often not very long, we have a very effective email correspondence.”

“It is always Kim I take contact to in Barker Jørgensen, I usually send him the order and then they react on this right away”; says Ejvind Larsen.
