History 1919: Barker Jørgensen establishes the Barker Jørgensen Machinary Shop. The businesses primary focus is on general forging and smithing.
1946: Gerhard Feldstedt joins the business.
1948: The business specialises in production of fans and fan accessories.
1954: Founder Barker Jørgensen passes away and Gerhard Feldstedt takes over the business.
1963: Gerhard Feldstedt’s son, Hans Feldstedt, joins the business. During the following years, Gerhard’s three other sons also join the business.
1980: Gerhard Feldstedt's four sons take over the business and establish a limited company. Gustav Feldstedt takes the overall business responsibility.
1988: The business moves into its current factory building in Ballerup outside of Copenhagen.
2000: Hans Feldstedt leaves the business.
2006: Jørgen Feldstedt leaves the business.
2006: Barker Jørgensen Machinary Shop is taken over by the holding company; Kleinberg. Jan Berg is appointed as Managing Director and Thomas Egelund as Business Director.
2007: The factory in China is experiencing great success. The production capacity is growing considerably, and Barker Jørgensen is ensured an excellent platform for further internationalisation of its businesses.
2008: Sales organization is established in China.
